On Saturday 15th June, Fred and his girlfriend Shannon took on Tough Mudder to raise funds for the Children’s Ward, here at UHCW. They faced poor weather conditions and tackled the obstacle course, coming out victorious and covered in mud on the other side! The pair raised nearly £4000 for the Children’s Ward, who took great care of Fred’s niece, Valencia, when she was taken ill with meningitis and sepsis. Thankfully, Valencia is now recovering, and we’d like to say a huge well done to Fred and Shannon!
