How Your Donations Have Made a Difference
A special delivery of 54 reclining chairs are making things better for pregnant and recently delivered mums and their birthing partners on our Maternity Wards.
These comfy chairs beside every bed encourage birthing partners to support mums’ physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the birth and in the precious first few hours with their newborn baby.
“These chairs will make a huge difference to enable birthing partners to stay overnight and start bonding as a family,” shared Modern Matron Sharon Gouldingay.
