Designed by TMB Artmetal in conjunction with NHS Charities together, it represents the iconic clapping hand from the NHS’s ‘finest hour’ during the recent Pandemic. The pin is modelled around various aspect of the hands of several NHS staff, including UHCW’s very own Sister May Parsons, who administered the world’s first COVID vaccine.
