Throughout the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic we were amazed by the support we received from local businesses and community groups, and this support is continuing as we move into winter.
Many local businesses have stepped forward to host one of our “Guess the Value Pamper Hamper” competitions to raise much needed funds for University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Charity.
With the fabulous Pamper Hamper provided by the Charity, businesses are encouraging their customers to have a go at guessing the total value of the luxurious contents – with the person guessing closest winning the hamper!
Local beauticians, Feeling Fabulous, recently hosted a Pamper Hamper event and raised over £200! The owner of Feeling Fabulous, Lisa Dumbleton said “It was a great privilege for myself and my clients at Feeling Fabulous Beauty and Aesthetics to be part of the Pamper Hamper Charity competition, raising funds for UHCW Charity”
Staff at Coventry Building Society have also taken part. Amber said “Helping the hospital through this challenging time is very important to us at the Society. We have had to think differently about how we can raise money as a lot of the activities we did previously have stopped, so it was great to be able to get involved by raising £200 for the raffle”
The money raised will go towards providing vital support to make things better for staff, patients and their families at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
