In April, our marvellous Medicine Group Matrons and Lead Nurses laced up their walking boots and headed to the Malvern Hills to take on the 9.8mile End to End Challenge.
They walked the undulating terrain in just over 4 ¼ hours, to raise money that will enable them to provide pull out overnight beds, allowing families to stay close to their loved ones in our Palliative Care Unit. They want to improve the quality of care they can give to their patients and their patient’s families, by enriching their precious final days. The group smashed their sponsorship target of £6000 and raised a whopping £7231! A huge well done to the group, you are absolutely incredible!
