A fabulous team from various departments at UHCW took on the Lake District 7 Peaks Challenge to raise funds.

The team of NHS colleagues, including our own Charity Trustee Mark Easter, committed to raise funds to support various initiatives and patient care at UHCW.

Venturing across 15 miles and tackling seven of England’s most demanding peaks, including its highest – Scafell Pike, the group climbed to over 3,000 feet (900m)!

This was a big feat, especially as Mark only had a brief respite after completing a demanding Coast to Coast cycle, going from Seascale to Whitby in a day, then back again!

Marks’ focus was to raise as much money as possible towards groundbreaking Robotic Surgery at UHCW, helping cancer patients to get the very best treatment. Thank you to everyone for your support!
