Your donations have funded 340 Ehob Wedge Inflatable Positioners, costing a total of £18,530, which are now available for patients across all wards at both University Hospital Coventry and Rugby St Cross. These wedge positioners inflate to create an elevated platform for bed bound patients, allowing them to lift their feet and reduce pressure ulcers.
Maureen, a patient on the Respiratory Ward, said “The support is very comfortable and helps keep my feet elevated and free from pain”
Staff from the Tissue Viability Team said, “The impact of having this equipment freely available for patients will be hugely beneficial in helping to reduce pressure ulcers for our patients”
