Lynda Cole, Community Champion at Asda Coventry presented Coventry Hospital Radio with a cheque for £500 today.
Coventry Hospital Radio were awarded the grand prize for receiving the most green token donations in March at the Asda Coventry Superstore in Walsgrave.
Coventry Hospital Radio said “we want to say a big thank you to all that took the time to use their token to vote for us when out shopping. We are so grateful for your support”.
UHCW Charity Community & Events Fundraiser said “A special thank you goes out to Lynda Cole who has shown a lot of support to us at the hospital over the last few months including a generous donation of easter eggs for the patients and staff!”.
Coventry Hospital Radio is looking to put the money towards refurbishing both of their studios with new equipment. There is still a long way to go… If anyone would like to get involved and support the fundraising for the radio please contact UHCW Charity.
