Starley Sportive 2024

22 September @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Starley Sportive is a cycling event that recognises the huge contributions of Coventry based inventors John Kemp Starley and James Starley to the cycle industry. What better way to celebrate their achievements than getting as many people as possible out on their bikes!
The difference with the Starley Sportive is that 100% of profit from the event goes to charity, one of which is UHCW Charity.

The Starley Sportive Cycling event offers three open road routes for different abilities – a short, family friendly ride of 28.6 miles, a longer route of 63.1 miles, or for really keen cyclists, the epic 86.5 mile route, so there really is something for everyone!

The only way to enter the event is to register in advance. UHCW Charity have a limited number of free places available for fundraisers, so if you want to raise sponsorship in return for a place, and a cycling shirt, contact Julie at julie.thorpe@uhcw.nhs.uk or call 02476 966211 to sign up.
